TEDxUC Davis

I went to the TEDxUC Davis at 10/3.

There are four talk and some performance.

Considering cost and time, it is not good experience, but I could learn something from it.

So I'm gonna write about it.

【What was the purpose of Museum】

The woman making presentation is the kind of curator of museum.

The first thing I realized from her talking is that the museum also is the place for users.

If the goal is storing the historical legacy, it is better to put them into some warehouse.

So it is perfectly important to think about "user experience" for museum.

What is the best way to display them?

What kind of picture is needed to enhance guest's experience?

As I realized before, all of the services including the museum give their customer "experience", instead of the things.

And the second thing is that one of the purpose of museum is conveying "who you are" and "what is the human being, nature and earth?". It means helping people make their identity, which is very broaden reason.

【The Work of Curiosity】

He mention that once you get some curiosity to particular things, it will improve your remembering ability to not only our target, but also other things. So especially for educator like a teacher, it is incredibly critical to arouse their curiosity in class.
